Evolutionary Algorithm‐Guided Voxel‐Encoding Printing of Functional Hard‐Magnetic Soft Active Materials

Evolutionary algorithm-guided voxel-encoding direct ink writing printing is a method to program both the magnetic direction and density distributions of the hard-magnetic soft active materials. This allows desired magnetic actuation with predesigned curvature distribution of the materials, demonstrating advanced applications including morphing structures and biomimetic robots of a crawling worm and a dog trot.
